Bouquet of the Week - Original Fine Art
There's something so special about bringing fresh flowers home each week and arranging them just so. This piece captures one of those perfect bouquets that I couldn't resist painting - bold deep orange roses and cheerful yellow ranunculus in a coral vase inspired by my very own personal one.
Working with acryla gouache, I painted these flowers trying to capture their bold, joyful energy. The textured brushstrokes and marks on the vase and the confident color choices reflect that spontaneous moment when you just have to paint what's in front of you. The background was created intuitively, using the colors that were already on my palette.
I love how my weekly flower ritual has become such an important part of my creative practice.
Size: 4"x4" artwork on a 1.5" profile birch wood panel.
Finished with 1 to 2 coats of satin Varnish.
Signed on front or back.
Easy to hang with just a screw, nail or 3M Damage Free Hanging Strips.
