When I have to work fast, I rely on inspiration and imagination to keep me engaged . Pulling from both sources gives me a wonderful way to have room for spontaneity. This is why this artwork is called Letting go, more about the process than anything else.
Painted with acrylic gouache on a 6×6", 1.5" profile birch wood panel.
This piece is finished with a coat of satin varnish, applied just before shipping. (Please note: the artwork pictured does not yet show the varnish.) The varnish is a beautiful, complementary touch — enhancing the richness of the colors and the texture of each brushstroke for an elevated, polished finish.
